Al Gore with another case of selective memory:
When addressing a labor union, Gore recalled that when he was young his mother would sing him the labor union song. That is a great memory except the song was written when he was 27!

Al Gore
Mr Gore has been known to embellish just a tad bit. Here is a good one:
Speaking on CNN Late Edition Al says "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the internet".
Oops, the internet, then known as ARPANET was created in 1969, 8 years before almighty Al was inducted into the US Congress. Shall we induct him? Not yet, I have more on the way that will cement his hall of fame status!

More Hillary......
How can she breathe?
"Give Bill a second term, and Al Gore and I will be turned loose to do what
we really want to do".
-Hillary Clinton, speaking at a Democratic fundraiser.
Hillary
Foot-in-mouthitis is prevalent with this lady. She is hereby inducted:
"I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president."
-- Hillary Clinton commenting on the release of subpoenaed documents

George W
You know I have to include at least one from the Commander In Chief. How's this:
"And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it." --interview on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007

O.J.
Our friendly Hertz spokesman is at it again. I am sure most all of you have heard about the new mess the former Buffalo tailback is in. We may have to name a trophy after him before he is done.
Here is his beauty:.
Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure ruled Simpson would stand trial on all 12 counts. Simpson replied "If I have any disappointment, it's that I wish a jury was here.""As always, I rely on the jury system."
I bet you do O.J., I bet you do. "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit." I bet he is wishing Mr Johnny Cochran was still here to acquit.

Marbury
Here is a quote that I believe NBA player Stephon Marbury may come to regret. This is a classic case of foot-in-the-mouthitis. He made the following statements after leaving the team Monday.
Marbury made his decision to return home to New York once he was informed on the team charter plane Monday afternoon that he would not be starting against the Suns.
"Isiah has to start me," Marbury fumed, according to the source. "I've got so much (stuff) on Isiah and he knows it. He thinks he can (get) me. But I'll (get) him first. You have no idea what I know." It is unclear if Marbury made the same threat directly to Isiah Thomas, whose first big move as team president was trading for Marbury.
